Traces in the sky
Award-winning photographs created by Image Stacking, visualizing the traces and patterns flying birds would leave in the sky.
This project is inspired by the work of Xavi Bou and Lothar Schiffler,
but uses photo captures instead of video clips (as they do) to generate the final result.

The king of the air and its entourage
Birds of prey can’t move around without being mobbed by all kind of other birds. Crows are very keen to chase birds of prey, as are ravens. In this picture, a white-tailed eagle can be seen flying around a tree in which another eagle is sitting in, followed by 5 ravens. This scene has been created by combining about 70 consecutive captures taken at a rate of about 15 frames per second.
